INVISIBLE ILLNESS AWARENESS WEEK (2020)

Updated: Nov 20, 2020

Hi my name is Lesley and I have multiple invisible illnesses, but despite it all I'm still Pretty Sick in the most amazing way ❤.

*Crohn's Disease/IBD

* Ankylosing Spondylitis

*Microphthalmia (Eye Condition)

Blind in Right Eye (artificial Eye)

*Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome

*Alopecia

*Hidradenitis Suppurativa

*Meniere's Disease/Vertigo/Hearing Loss

There's deception that exist in the mindset that every person who looks "normal" is not sick and that is simply not true. In ending out Invisible Disabilities Awareness Week remember that every disability or illnesses isn't visible but its there; we all carry our illnesses differently and no two illness or disability looks the same. We are just pretty & sick in the most amazing way and doing our best to break the stigmas and shells.

Together we can bring awareness, education and support to our neighborhoods and around the world every year during Invisible Disabilities Week Oct 18 – 24, 2020.
